In late 2016 I was sleeping five hours a night, drinking eight coffees a day, and telling everyone I was just wired that way. My HRV was the worst metric I'd ever measured on myself. I'd been an engineer my whole life. I treated everything as a system. The body was the one thing I'd never engineered.
I gave myself ninety days. Cold exposure, sleep architecture, breath protocols, fasting windows. Logged everything. By March 2017 my deep sleep had doubled. That was the first protocol. Then I built the next one. Then someone asked me to build them theirs. That's how this work began.
