The Device

Medical-grade HHO generator produces a hydrogen-oxygen mixture via electrolysis. The key specifications that matter clinically are gas purity, flow rate, and hydrogen concentration. Consumer-grade devices vary significantly on all three. Case study displayed how to evaluate a device against these parameters rather than against marketing claims.

The Response

The room had a high density of physicians and researchers. The questions were sharp and specific - particularly around the oxidative stress literature and the question of whether the evidence base for hydrogen therapy is robust enough to make strong claims. The honest answer: it is more robust than most of the longevity community has engaged with, and considerably less robust than the device manufacturers imply. That gap is where an honest practitioner has to operate.

What the Case study Contributed

Several attendees approached after the session to discuss integrating hydrogen therapy into clinical and coaching protocols. Two researchers requested the bibliography for the clinical evidence section. The case for HHO hydrogen therapy does not need overselling - the mechanism is sound and the early evidence is encouraging. What it needs is honest representation, which is what the audience came for.
