The third Biohacking Retreat will take the programme to Egypt - desert heat adaptation, contrast therapy, ancient sites, and the next evolution of the longevity and performance curriculum.

The next chapter after Ibiza and Iceland. A small, curated retreat set against the temples, sound chambers, and sacred geometry of ancient Egypt, designed for biohackers, entrepreneurs, and high performers who want to push beyond what cold exposure and breathwork alone can do.

Why Egypt

Egypt is the field laboratory the wellness industry forgot. The Nile temple system is the longest-running, best-preserved set of consciousness-engineering tools on the planet. Stone, acoustics, alignment, and ritual sequence built into architecture specifically to produce shifts in perception, focus, and inner state. You cannot replicate that in a hotel ballroom or a sauna in Berlin. We are going to the source.

We are building the retreat around three things: the unique acoustic and geometric properties of the temple sites, deliberate desert and water immersion, and the science-backed biohacking protocols that ship with every Biohacking Academy event.

The focus pillars

Sacred space and sound work

Sessions inside or adjacent to temple sites. Sound healing built around the resonance properties of stone chambers, not yoga shala speakers. The research framework of Carl Hayden Smith at the University of East London as a starting point. Bojan's field notes from the Nile cover the site-by-site logic behind why this approach works.

Breathwork in extreme environments

Breathwork in conditions that change the dose curve. Desert dawn, river morning, granite chamber. Same techniques you would do at home, in environments that compress the integration.

Heat exposure and adaptation

Desert heat is sustained, dry, and ambient, a different stressor than sauna intervals. Structured exposure with clear protocols, paired with deliberate cooling.

Longevity, supplementation, and nutrition

The biohacking core: live talks, hands-on workshops, supplementation strategy sessions, and protocol design tailored to what each participant is actually trying to move. The same science layer that anchors the online academy and one-on-one mentoring programs.

Movement and mobility

Functional movement work integrated through the days, scaled for the climate and the schedule.

Ceremonial integration

Evening sessions designed to lock in what the days produced. Group integration, intentional rest, and sleep-protocol coaching.

Who this is for

Entrepreneurs, longevity enthusiasts, biohackers, health innovators, high performers, and explorers of human potential. Both beginners and experienced biohackers benefit. The retreat is being designed for a small, carefully selected group to keep conversations deep and access to hosts direct.

What makes you a good fit:

  • Interested in biohacking and longevity
  • An entrepreneur or high performer
  • Passionate about health optimization
  • Curious about science, ritual, and the intersection of the two
  • Looking for a reset that goes beyond standard wellness retreats
  • Your hosts

Bojan Matic - Founder of Biohacking Academy. Author, lecturer, and consultant with years of fieldwork across the biohacking and longevity space. Recently in the field with Dave Asprey in the Amazon, with Carl Hayden Smith on the Nile, and with the Insider Expeditions cohort in Antarctica. The Egypt retreat is a direct application of what came back from that year of research.

Melda Cinar - Co-organizer and host. Biohacker, innovator, wellness researcher.

Additional faculty to be announced, drawn from the same network of practitioners who shaped our past retreats.

    Early access

The full programme, dates, accommodation, and pricing will be announced when the itinerary is locked. Early-access applicants get priority registration, first announcement of details, and the early-bird tier when bookings open.

The schedule and programme outlined above reflect the current planning direction and are not yet finalised. Final activities, faculty, and itinerary will be confirmed in the official retreat announcement.
